If your like I was Ice fishing was not something I desired to do. I have an extreme fear of falling through ice and into the frigid water. Or at least that is how I used to be, now that I have a hovercraft none of that concerns me. My hovercraft floats like a boat when its turned off, but it also flies 8 inches off the surface, that allows me to set it down on the thinnest ice and drop a line. Fully enclosed or open air it's what is under you that counts.
